I must have been three or four years old when our family had a deer lease in Sonora, Texas and from that point on I could not wait for those times to hang out with the guys back at camp, and hear stories from the morning’s hunt. When I was about seven my dad took me to a new lease where I got the chance to shoot my first deer. She was a big mature doe and man was that a rush of a lifetime! Ever since then come the end of hunting season you will find me chomping at the bit for that next opening day.

It would be a waste to introduce myself and tell you about this love of mine and not mention what I love the most in my life, my family. Without my amazing wife, who is so supportive while I chase a dream, I would never have this opportunity. April is awesome and sacrifices so much for me to be able to travel and hunt these incredible animals. Our daughter Lexi, is a four, almost five year old little princess, and early in 2010 April gave birth to our son Brock Allen. I am so very thankful to have this little man in my world and cannot wait to spend as much time as I can with him in the outdoors.

So when I am not hunting, fishing, or hanging out in the outdoors with my buddies Packer, Steve, and Coach, I am probably shooting in a different way. I am a photographer by trade and when we are not on the road I am typically working on some photography project. I love photography and every chance I have as we travel to these beautiful places, I am always ready to capture these memories that will last a lifetime.
