I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania where the outdoors was a huge part of everyday life. Early on, at the age of 8, a bow was placed in my hands and I was released to do my part in the management of small game. I should probably take this time to apologize to those neighbors for stalking game in their backyards and the occasions where I may have flattened a tractor tire or two.

My step-father played a huge part for igniting my passion for the outdoors as well as our neighbor who was the Fish and Game warden for out township. Both of these men recognized (and I try to follow their example) how important it was to hunting to shape and invest into young people to ensure the enjoyment of the outdoors for years to come. They took me everywhere and how they ever got me to sit still for so long was lost on my mom.

After moving to California I got turned on to upland game birds and allowed that to consume most of my hunting efforts. Spending ten years hunting and fishing in California was incredible, unfortunately I was working so hard to start a company I never got the chance to take advantage of all the beautiful landscape California has to offer.

Three years ago, I moved Texas and that’s when I met Josh, Craig, and Coach. My wife and I joined a great church in the area and soon after began to meet in a “community group”. I don’t think she had any idea what she was getting herself into. It wasn’t but the third time we met that hunting became the focus of conversation and still is today. At that point you could have started calling me a Texan because I had found my home. This place hit every target for me, God, Family, and Great Friends. Texas is where my hat will hang. I now understand why people say, “I’m not from Texas but I got here as soon as I could”.

I couldn’t write this Bio and not mention my amazing wife and family. Going on ten years of marriage I couldn’t do what I do without the constant support from my wife and kids. My wife, Jennifer, has been a huge part of my success in business and couldn’t be more supportive as I take to hunting full-time. Trust me when I say I’m a card carrying member of the “Way out of your league club”. My daughter, Campbell, is now 4 and she can’t wait to go hunting with Daddy. She’s my biggest cheerleader and loves to hear stories of where I’ve been. She’s now taken to naming all of the deer that hang on my wall. My son is just flat out awesome unfortunately for him he looks exactly like me. At 2 he’s more of a Spiderman fan but we are working him into hunting slowly.

If I’m not hunting or filming you can probably find me struggling to play the game of golf. There have been more than a couple of times I’ve been caught trying to sneak my golf clubs on a hunting trip.
